A new BBX family member A big congratulations to BBX’s COO Carolin Macdonald and husband Simon on the birth of their little boy. In true BBX tradition Carolin & Simon named him Barry Brian eXcalibur MacDonald or BBX MacDonald for short…. only kidding. Weighing just 2.5 kg, please make welcome Callum Macdonald! Welcome Back! We welcome back Magali Russo to our Sydney head office after many years managing the Gold Coast office. Magali brings to us a wealth of skills and will be working closely with Mireille Touma in administration. Trade expos Sydney Just last week we wound up the last of the trade shows for the year with the mammoth Sydney Expo which attracted hundreds of people. Looking more like the opening of a Broadway show, it was a mass of people, food, entertainment and an unbelievable auction featuring cars, buses, bikes and much more. It was the perfect night for BBX members to spend their trade dollars on items for xmas instead of spending cash! Special guest for the night was South Sydney Rabbitohs’ Ben Ross (pictured on the right). His story of the past year has been amazing. He suffered a broken neck while playing for Cronulla earlier this year and as a result was a quadriplegic for five days. He has since fully recovered and has joined new coach John Lang at Souths. As with all Sydney expos, bidding was fierce on many of the great items on the auction totaling over 50 lots. Big sales included the Honda Prelude and Mercedes bus. A reminder that any member can place a lot into our auctions just by advising their local account manager or contacting us here in head office on 1800 229 220. Adelaide The Adelaide expo was held two weeks ago and it was quite possibly one of the best trade events of the year and clearly showed that a trade expo certainly can attract the crowds. Franchise owner Francis Wong, with his able team of Vivek Geera, David Pacella and Celine Youngman all pulled together to ensure Adelaide experienced a BBX night they won’t forget in a hurry! Sponsorship News Last Friday night BBX was involved in the last Foxsports boxing telecast of the year from the Roundhouse in Kensington NSW. It was a night dedicated to raising much needed funds for the underprivileged children of Sydney. Making it even better, world champion Ricky Hatton (pictured below) flew in from the UK to be at the night just to support the kids. Other famous fighters and personalities involved were Jeff Harding, Johnny Lewis, Sakia Bika, Jack Elsgood and many more. BBX member ‘Vivaz’ restaurant enjoyed the night along with their guests and family.

BBX trading tip BBX is a perfect fit for any business that has downtime or too much stock. The secret to your membership success relies upon both BBX and yourself forming a synergy that ensures continued success for all concerned.
To make the partnership work to its full potential, it helps to identify what you want to achieve as a member, for instance:
Without knowing what you want to achieve, it is sometimes difficult for BBX to assist you with what you want to get from your relationship. The BBX model can work for every business, but it relies upon you as the owner to allow that to happen.
