Businesses today have to stop this endless line of discounting because consumers are now just waiting for the discounts to come out before buying. Why be in business if you can’t make the profits?

We buy all this great product at wholesale prices to make a  profit, only to be able to sell between 50% to 75% at retail prices and  then go off on a frenzy discounting in order to sell the remaining stock due to lack of sales, storage cost and new stock tats on its way, WHY?

Just because the market you’re selling in has come to an end, doesn’t mean you have to throw away your profits by discounting. What you need to do is change the market you’re currently selling in in-order to gain the rest of the profits that is rightfully yours.

In some cases you could use that end-of-line stock as a giveaway marketing strategy to sell other goods at retail, or sell it off in bulk, to someone who can use it as a marketing campaign for their product. However that’s really doing it the hard way.

When you have come to the point of reaching all the sales at the full retail price and it is now time to discount because of storage costs or a new line coming in, start looking at other avenues.
