Barter does not need to be hard. In fact, I want to tell you my personal story. Of course I was sceptical, totally sceptical that BBX was going to be just a fizzer.

Now, a couple of months down the track, I am happy to tell you, BBX is the best thing that could have happened. They told me to spend the credit I was given and then BBX staff would ensure that I could earn my way out of debt.

So I took the salesman at face value. I signed up. Then, I went to a couple of good restaurants to treat my wife and I bought some clothes, purchased a nice business compendium to take to meetings, ordered some new business cards, all on BBX. There I had used some of the credit given to me on my BBX card, so now when was the work going to roll in to pay for it all?

The next day, much to my amazement, the phone called from a business coordinator at BBX. Would I be interested in some work from another BBX member. Yes, too right I was ready to get some work and earn BBX dollars to repay the debt I had created. And that work was good, repaying some of the debt.

The next week, another person called. Would I be interested in writing a business plan. Too right I was. Then he said, would you do this all on BBX Trade Dollars. Too right I was keen to do that, to pay back what I had spent.

Now several months down the track I can say I have a healthy balance of BBX Trade Dollars and the work just keeps coming in. The thought never crossed my mind, but someone I was talking to asked, “But how are you going to spend your BBX Trade Dollars?”

“No problem mate,” was my answer. I already have more ways of spending Trade Dollars than the income will allow. I just ordered some weight-loss meal replacements, then I want some more clothes, and I bought some software, and plan to buy some printer cartridges and so the list goes on.

The BBX salesman told me that BBX was different – it is “performance based” - meaning that you spend the credit they give you first and then they guarantee that they can give you enough work, or sales whichever applies to you, to earn your way out of debt. Now, I just proved it. I spent the credit they gave me and I am back in the black again three times over.

BBX works “out of the box” just like they promised! When are you going to BBX?
